Maryland Hall offers the
most comprehensive selection of arts enrichment classes in the region.
Non-credit classes for adults and children in the fine and performing
arts are an integral part of our vision to be the area’s leading
center for lifelong participation in the arts. From toddlers and
teens to adults and seniors, we provide enrichment and education
for people in our community interested in exploring the arts. Our
classes are designed to cultivate artistic skills and to inspire,
encourage and nurture an appreciation for the arts.
We offer classes during three semesters: Fall; Winter/Spring; and
Summer. Classes are offered in a variety of artistic disciplines
including dance, drama, music, pottery, painting, drawing, photography,
crafts and film. Course catalogs are prepared months in advance
and are available on our web site, at Maryland Hall and at Anne
Arundel County Libraries.
Our instructors are actively involved in the visual and performing
arts locally and regionally. They are professional artists, dancers,
musicians, actors and directors who possess a strong commitment
to their area of specialty and have a background in teaching. We
provide continuing education and enrichment programs to our teachers
to ensure a high-quality experience for our students.
